How to Enter:

Buy-in at the Cash Desk for R100 per entry. Buy-ins and registration open 30 minutes prior to the first heat. Buy-ins are not limited however a player may only buy one seat per qualifying heat.

  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is strictly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion is exclusive to all Suncoast Rewards cardholders.
  5. This promotion begins on 03 December 2024 and ends on 16 March 2025.
  6. The promotion mechanics will be communicated via the marketing channels used to advertise this promotion. Participants who wish to be notified via SMS must opt-in to receive SMS communication.
  7. Suncoast reserves the right to amend the mechanics of this promotion if deemed necessary. Any changes will be communicated.
  8. A “participant” herein refers to a person who enters, competes in, or is otherwise eligible to win a promotional competition.
  9. There will be two sessions at each qualifying round that take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first session commences at 12h00 until 14h00, and the second session commences at 19h00 to 21h00.
  10. There will be one session at each qualifying round that take place on Sundays. The session commences at 12h00 until 15h00.
  11. Qualifying rounds will take place on the dates below:
  • 03, 05, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22 December 2024
  • 07, 09, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30 January 2025
  • 02, 04, 06, 09, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 25, 23, 27 February 2025
  • 02, 04, 06, 09 March 2025
  1. Semi-final and grand finale will take place on Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 15h00.
  2. Sales and registrations for qualifying rounds begin sixty (60) minutes prior to the start of the session and closes five (5) minutes before the end of the session.
  3. Entry into the tournament is R100 per heat.
  4. Points, or any other form of consideration cannot be used as buy-ins.
  5. Rewards card holders can enter as many times as they want.
  6. Slots machines will be operated in a tournament mode; hence any winnings accrued will not be paid out as casino winnings despite the fact that corresponding winning combinations may be displayed at such machines.
  7. Participants will be allocated three (3) minutes per heat in the qualifying rounds and five (5) minutes per heat in the semi-finals and grand finale.
  8. In the event of a tie credit score when determining winners or finalists at any of the relevant stages, each player (or nominee) concerned will be required to select a playing card (Ace is low) from a set of cards.
  9. The player/nominee with the highest card value will determine the participant with the higher score.
  10. If the player or nominee concerned is not present to select a playing card as indicated above, then a random member of the public will be requested to make the selection on his/her behalf.
  11. In the event of a malfunction of a slot machine during any qualifying heat, the affected players will be given the first available seat in a future similar heat if possible.
  12. A refund will be made if these players cannot be accommodated in such future heat under these circumstances.
  13. In the event that the tournament system experiences any technical difficulties, the entire heat will be restarted. If the afore-mentioned technical difficulties are not resolved within a reasonable period then the relevant heat will be postponed.
  14. In the event of the occurrence of any of the above-mentioned malfunctions during the final stages, the affected player/s will be given the first available seat in a future similar heat within those final stages concerned.
  15. If such future heats are filled to capacity, then additional heat(s), as may be required, will be announced whereby the participants will draw seat numbers.
  16. In the event that any malfunction cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, then the finals will be postponed.
  17. All buy-ins during the duration of the tournament will be allocated to the grand finale prize money
  18. If the total buy-ins exceed the original target at R100 each, all additional buy-ins will be allocated proportionally to the grand prize table.
  19. The number of entries is unlimited, is subject to the availability of heats/seats and the prior entry purchase(s).
  20. Registration for participation shall be in person and in accordance with the advertised dates and times, which will be available through the casino’s marketing and/or communication mediums used for the tournament.
  21. Late entries shall not be accepted.
  22. Registration for qualifying heats of the tournament will be on a “first come first serve” basis and machines will be allocated in sequential order.
  23. At the tournament finals, machines/seats will be allocated by way of a random draw.
  24. Participants can only secure a maximum of 5 positions on the top 50 leader board and 2 seats in the grand finale.
  25. If a participant wins two seats in the finals, they can nominate a proxy to play on their behalf.
  26. A proxy nominee cannot be a player who has qualified for the same stage of the tournament.
  27. Participants must be present at the tournament or nominate a proxy to act on their behalf.
  28. Participants must register to decline to be present at the tournament by completing a Proxy Form.
  29. Participants may nominate a Proxy to act on their behalf if they choose not to be present. Valid Positive and acceptable form of Identification must be presented by both the Participant and Nominee (If applicable) when completing the Proxy Form.
  30. Nominees or Proxies may not represent more than one (1) Participant.
  31. Prize winners or nominated Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves at the tournament area and must be in possession of positive and acceptable form of identification.
  32. Should the prize winner not have the relevant identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using Patron Management System.
  33. Should proof of identification not be available on the Patron Management System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the winner to present a valid and acceptable form of identification.
  34. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the Prescribed Proxy Form and or the Patron Management System. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize.
  35. Proxies or Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the winner they represent.
  36. Prizes must be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not Nominee) within 15 days of the draw at the Suncoast Casino Guest Services Desk.
  37. All cash prizes will be issued by means of a promotional slot short.
  38. Any changes to the numbers prior to the game starting must be signed off by the Promotion Director.
  39. Any person deviating from the promotional rules will be disqualified.
  40. If any rules are found to be void, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining rules shall remain in full force and effects.
  41. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  42. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  43. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  44. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management.
  45. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  46. The above clauses are severable from each other.
  47. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
