Skhumba is back with his one-man show called As I Was Saying
What comes to your mind when you hear the name Skhumba Hlophe? Yeah, that’s right. Our very own comedian also known as a radio presenter, and an actor, who’s good at making us laugh out loud. The 2022 DSTVCA Best Comedian, Skhumba Hlophe is back BIGGER and BETTER with his brand-new one-man show. The road to LOLs is paved with comedy, and Skhumba enjoys driving it.
After a three-year hiatus, Skhumba is back with his brand-new one-man show. This show will focus more on what has been happening in the country and the world, how he’s dealt with challenges he faced during Covid-19 and turning the BIG 4-0…and how he’s grown over the past few years. This 5th one-man show is a MAJOR accomplishment for him. He has a lot to say about what he’s been through and seen over the years.
This show will be live at Suncoast on 26 November 2022. This follows a wildly successful ensemble tour called #CanWeLaughAlready, which had audiences all over the country in stitches and earned him the Best Comedian DSTV Choice Award 2022. This award was a wonderful expression of gratitude and recognition for his work over the last 2 to 3 years, especially after dealing with a deadly pandemic that brought the entire world to its knees.
