After the huge success of Arjun’s Tour in Durban in March 2020, he is back by popular demand for ONE NIGHT ONLY at Suncoast on 1 February 2025.
Arjun rose to attention following an R&B cover version of the Tamil song “Why This Kolaveri Di”which was uploaded on YouTube in December 2011. (“How could you do this to me?”) of “Why This Kolaveri Di” attracted over 3 million YouTube views in one month. Arjun has a total of over 1.1 billion views on YouTube.
Arjun became known for his fusion of contemporary Western and Eastern sounds, combining R&B with elements of South Asian music. Arjun has released collaborative videos with several well-known Desi artists, including Guru Randhawa, Mickey Singh, Vidya Vox, Jonita Gandhi, F1rstman, The PropheC, and Falak.h In addition to English, he has sung in Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish and Sinhalese.
Accompanying Arjun on this tour will be DJ SHRAII who is a BBC Guest DJ and Radio presenter based in London. He’s made history as one of the youngest-ever presenters for the BBC Asian Network. He has been DJing since 2010 and his first residency came in 2012, aged 18 at the World Famous Ministry of Sound in London. He served as the resident DJ in the main room, playing HipHop to crowds of thousands every week.
Shraii was working his way to becoming one of the hottest young DJs in London. By 21, he was playing in exclusive clubs all over the UK. He boasts an impressive resumé of international tours spanning across Europe and Asia. He has performed all over the world in venues such as Ministry & Fabric in London, RnB Club in Sri Lanka Colombo, Estella in India Mumbai, Canopy in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia & more.
Over the years, DJ Shraii has gained an impressive following. His status has allowed him to collaborate with many famous artists.
