Spin to Win

1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotion.
2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. Entry to each heat of the tournament is by way of cash buy-in of R100 for which colour and/or tournament and/or No Cash Value chips (“chips”) will be issued.
4. Each colour chip will represent an unredeemable rand value of R10 whereas tournament and No Cash Value chips will represent the unredeemable rand value it bears for purposes of betting, determining of winners and ranking of players. These chips have no cash value and it cannot be redeemed for value in any form, or be used to place bets at live games.
5. A maximum of 2 designated and demarcated operational tables and/or tournament tables will be utilized for the tournament. Live games will not be offered at the affected operational tables during tournament sessions, however live games may resume at these tables when it is not being utilized for tournament purposes.
6. Tournament days will be Monday’s between 10h00 and 17h00 for the month on dates as advertised on complex point of sale. Suncoast reserves the right to amend the promotion date/time if deemed necessary as a result of changing state of disaster regulations.
7. Buy-in for a heat will be R100. Players may re-enter as many times as they wish, but an individual may hold only one seat per heat.
8. Players shall only be rewarded for one winning spot on the leaderboard.
9. Entries cannot be purchased for points or through any other form of consideration.
10. Heats will be held on tournament days from 10h00 to 17h00, with the first heat starting at 10h00 and no new heats will commence after 17h00.
11. American Roulette
    • A maximum of 3 players at a time will constitute a heat, with a minimum of 1 player.
    • After buying in, each player will receive 3 x stacks of colour chips, each chip will represent R10.
    • Players will be given 3 spins of a maximum of 60 seconds per spin each to bet.
    • Players must play every spin. Missing a spin will result in a player being disqualified for that heat.
    • At the end of 3 spins, the chips will be totalled and entries will be made onto the leader board if achieved.
    • A leader board will be displayed reflecting the top players.
    • Values won will not be carried forward.
    • All scores will be recorded as a Rand based value as tournament winnings
    • Standard Suncoast American Roulette rules will apply to all games/heats.
12. Players must play every Spin if they have chips- no call bets, no outside bets, no half maximum and full maximum bets. Side bets will not be permitted.
13. Tournament chips must be visible at all times on the gaming table for the duration of the heat. Concealing of chips as such may result in disqualification for that heat.
14. Participants will have to place their own bets, the dealer will at no point place bets on behalf of any of the participants.
15. If there is a no spin, the Tournament Manager will call a no spin.
16. Only participants playing in the heat will be allowed into the designated playing area.
17. Participants will not be allowed to share A further buy-in is permitted after a heat is completed.
18. Player’s play for themselves; monies may not be pooled or transferred to other players. All chips must be returned to the respective table float at the end of each game.
19. All disputes must be raised within the spin in play. Any disputes that could not be resolved at the time of play, must be escalated to management within a seven (7) day period.

Leaderboard

• • At the end of every heat, participants will have to sign a score sheet/voucher acknowledging their scores for the game played, each participants score will determine their place on the qualifying leaderboard.
  • Scores from previous heats will not accumulate to additional heats played.
  • The Top 5 unique players on the leaderboard will qualify for the prize pool for the day .i.e. Players may only win once and will be awarded prizes for the highest spot that they hold, all other spots below that are non-qualifying and prize will be award to the next unique winner on the board.
  • Zero scores will not be entered onto the leaderboard. I.e. Only scores greater than zero will be considered for positions on the leaderboard and for prize giving.
  • If there are less than 5 winning scores on the board (meaning there are 1-4 top scores and all other scores for the day are zero) the prize pool for the missing winning positions will be split equally amongst the other spots. E.g. there is a winner in position 1 and 2 but all other scores thereafter are zero, the prize money for positions 3, 4, 5 will be split equally between position 1 and 2.
  • Should there be tied scores and there is a need for a spin off i.e. determining a leader board position a Dealer will spin the roulette ball in the wheel for the affected participants in alphabetical order of their surnames. The participant with the higher number (zero being a low number) will gain the higher position and the sequence will follow on respectively. The ranking order will be adjusted accordingly. In the event the same number is spun for more than one participant, the dealer will re-spin assigning the number spun alphabetically should there be a need. This process will be carried out at the end of the tournament day at the tournament table under camera coverage.
  • Whilst every reasonable effort will be taken to ensure the accurate recording of rankings/scores, the onus shall remain with participants to ensure that their rankings/scores are correct at all times. The casino reserves the right to make the necessary corrections as soon as it becomes aware of any founded discrepancies, which corrections could change the rankings/scores of participants and allocation of prizes.

Prizes

20. The Top 5 unique players on the leader board will each get a share of the buy in pot for the day or a guaranteed share of R10, 000 whichever is higher. The breakdown of prizes will be as follows:

21. Winning patron numbers will be announced on the casino floor and winners will be contacted directly to collect prizes at the Guest Services desk.
22. Prize winners have 15 days to redeem their prizes at the Guest Services Desk. A valid form of identification will be required when redeeming their prize.
23. Participants do not earn Rewards Programme points during tournament play.
24. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion may be disqualified.
25. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
26. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
27. Tournament Director’s decision (or a Management Representative thereof) will be deemed as final and no correspondence will be entered into.
